Topkapı Palace The Imperial Gate
This gate is across Ayasofya and Ahmet III Fountain, it separates Topkapı Palace terrain from the city and was built during the time of Fatih Sultan Mehmet in 1468- 1478. It is the ceremonial gate that enables the palace to open to the city.
